Does the practice accept NHS patients?
Yes.
Does the practice offer any finance schemes?
Yes. On joining the practice patients are registered with one dentist who will carry out all your dental treatment. Patients can be registered in one of two ways. One is under private contract whereby appointments are paid for on a fee-per-item basis. The other is under the Denplan scheme, whereby the patient pays a fixed monthly amount to Denplan. This provides cover for all aspects of routine dentistry conducted in the practice. Both methods of registration enable our dentists to provide the same high level of private dental care. Your dentist will be pleased to discuss with you which is most suitable for your dental needs and there is written information regarding Denplan available at the practice. Children and Students Children of our registered patients are usually seen on the Denplan scheme. Denplan run a special low cost scheme for children with two levels of cover, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care and full emergency out-of-hours cover. The table below details the monthly costs for the two levels of Denplan cover. Age 6 - 17 years, and 18 years in full time education Plan 1 £3.60 Plan 2 £6.90 All patients' children under the age of six will be seen by our practice free of charge. Plan 1 Regular six monthly check-ups Preventive care and Oral Hygiene advice X-Rays as necessary Any routine treatment will be charged at one third of our private fee rate Accident and emergency cover Plan 2 Regular six monthly check-ups Preventive care and Oral Hygiene advice X-Rays as necessary Any necessary routine treatment is included Accident and emergency cover When children reach the age of eighteen, we usually transfer them on to our adult Denplan scheme, or they may choose to pay privately for their care. Students Full time students aged under 21 whose parents are patients of the practice, may at the discretion of the dentists, be seen as private patients for the duration of their college or university course, at a reduced rate of 50% of normal private fees. However, we find that most parents prefer to include students on a Denplan scheme, as this also provides emergency cover when away from home.

We close each day for lunch between 1pm to 2pm. During lunchtimes and outside of surgery hours there is an answering service so that our staff can call you back if necessary.
